The "Made with Ray-Ban Meta" icon and Spin View formats are triggered when Instagram detects specific hardware signatures in a photo's EXIF data or a video's container. POVLY injects these exact signatures. While we cannot guarantee Instagram will always apply the label (as they constantly update their algorithms), our metadata footprint perfectly matches genuine hardware.
Never. The conversion happens entirely in your browser memory. We have no backend server, no upload endpoints, and we never see your files.
Because the image is re-encoded. Browser JPEG encoders choose their own compression levels. This is why we reconstruct the metadata from scratch rather than trying to edit the existing file. Videos, however, are NOT re-encoded and maintain their exact quality and file size.
We currently support MP4 and MOV files up to your tier's file size limit (100MB for Free, up to 500MB for Pro).
